Time: 10:00:00 GMT-0700 (Pacific Daylight Time)

Location: 90200 U.S. 26, Government Camp, OR 97028

In this interactive session, you will have the opportunity to create your own unique glass masterpiece. Barbara will guide you through the process, teaching you various techniques to cut, shape, and fuse glass. Whether you’re interested in making jewelry, ornaments, or decorative pieces, this workshop will provide you with the skills and knowledge to get started.

Don’t miss out on this incredible chance to explore your creativity and discover the beauty of fused glass. Sign up now to secure your spot!

Arouse your creativity by designing and creating your own fused glass piece to keep. In this 4-hour class you will receive a short lecture explaining the properties of glass and the kiln fusing process followed by demonstration and instruction on how to cut glass. The rest of the class is hands on for you with instruction and support from me. Select your color palate, design and cut the glass, and assemble the pieces of your project to ready it for the kiln. All tool usage, glass supplies, and kiln firing are included in the class fee.

The projects will be put in the kiln to fire overnight and be available for pick up or delivery later the next day. If you want your plate slumped into a dish shape, that will take longer and arrangements can be made.

Note: Working around sharp glass can result in injury. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Pay special mind if you are taking medications or have any medical conditions that could inhibit blood coagulation or make altitude difficult for you.~

PLEASE NOTE: If a workshop is cancelled (such as due to public health policy changes or low enrollment) you will be notified at least 14 days prior to the start of the workshop and you will receive a full refund.
