Cascadia Center for Arts & Crafts is a place-based maker space that keeps traditional craft alive in the Mount Hood region. Inspired by the WPA era and the monumental construction of Timberline Lodge that epitomizes the unique aesthetic of the rustic architectural style, we house studio spaces for blacksmith, metal, glass, fiber, timber and log, and visual artists to instruct and learn. Catalyzed by the inspirational power of the natural beauty and history of the Cascade mountain region, Cascadia Center for Arts & Crafts also stewards the preservation of historic structures in the Mount Hood forest.

We are expanding our class offerings and inviting traditional and contemporary teaching artists to join our community. Will you share your skill and knowledge with Cascadia Center for Arts & Crafts? All you need is a form of expression, a desire to pass on knowledge that may otherwise disappear, and love for the Mount Hood region.
