“Desigually – Detail and Design, Endless Possibilities”

July 3, 2018 By Jamie Dull

Level : All Levels Welcome

Dates: July 20-22nd 2018

Instructor: Corina Tettinger

Class Description: The “Desigually” means that the orginial beads were based on the fun and colorful designs of the Spanish clothing company DESIGUAL. In beads I recreated some of the patterns with Murrini, Twisties, dots and stringers. Here some examples (The beauty of this design is that you can create a large variety of beads, flat, round, encased – whatever you can think of): The 3 day clas will focus on making your own Murrini and Twisties, and creating a variety of beads, focusing on the principles of Design – something you might also find useful.

This class is suitable for all. A strong beginner can take this class, however it has something to learn all the way to advanced. Corina’s style is to direct the instruction to the groups level of work, then take you further. Snacks provided. Meals are responsibility of students. many restaurants in the village. Raven Studio has full kitchen and refrigerator for your lunch and drinks should you bring a lunch. Class can also have pizza or sandwiches delivered to the studio! As you are traveling to Oregon.. always bring a light coat for evening or occasional rain; though July the chance is less.

Bring your favorite flameworking tools. Basics supplied including dydimium glasses.
